Thoughts on Life

So its been a long time since I made a post, but today I am sitting here listening to some music and I caught myself being deep in thought about life and what the future may hold. The honest truth is that recently life has gotten better for me. What you may not know is that the last couple of months(before my new job) I have been depressed, don’t worry it wasn’t a deep depression where I thought about suicide or anything, it was just the feeling that life sucks and I am going no where in life. But the new job that I started about two months ago has changed my opinion on that because I am starting to realize that no matter what is handed to me it is how I take those situations and deal with them, so from here on out I am going to try to do whatever it is I feel like doing while I have the time and am young. I work with people who have Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and I have realized that I should enjoy my time now cause I do not know what the future holds. I have noticed that most of these people I care for have a great sense of humor, and even though they have memory loss they do and say the funniest things, and some days I think to myself I so hope that I have a sense of humor when I get old.So this is a short post to tell every one out there that enjoy the time you have and do not put anything off cause you never know what might happen. I know that is how I am going to try to start living.

Joseph Kony….

So as most of you have heard or even seen the 30 minute “Documentary” video about Joseph Kony. Yes I posted the vid yesterday as well. I posted it to raise awareness, but I do have some issues with the video. First off take your son out of the video. I get that he wants his son to know that Kony is a bad guy but DON’T put him in a video like that, I did not like that at all. Second of all, this guy said him met Jacob 10 years ago. Ok if that is so and you wanted to help him why wait till now to make that video ten years later, yes I am sure it took a while to get the together but come on. Also it sort amazes me that this video is coming out in election year and that all the politicians that were on the vid agreed that Kony needed to be stopped. its election year of course they are going to agree. Also in the vid April 20 came up as the night that they will be putting up posters in every major city till the sun comes up. Last time I checked this was vandalism. I get what this is suppose to do, bring attention to Kony, but there is no way that I would do this and risk getting arrested for vandalism sorry. So to summarize, I get what this video was made for, but to me it was too over produced, the same message could have been given without all the transitions, politician interviews, even the few celebs that were in it was too much. Sometimes simply is so much better. Also, why was there no mention of the Ugandan government and their efforts to try and stop Kony. I mean according to the video he has kidnapped over 30,000 kids for the past 20 years. I want to hear a statement from the Ugandan government on what they are doing to try and capture Kony. I mean in 2005 Kony was indicted by the International Criminal Court and has supposedly been evading them ever since. A person like Kony does not stay hidden for very long his ego is too big. A  person like Kony wants to be in the spotlight and wants the attention so I have a feeling that Kony is probably out in plain sight. Another thing is that in 2006 Kony met with someone from the U.N. and told that person he had no children in his custody and was there to talk about peace. If the warrant was issued in 2005 then why was he not arrested in 2006 when he was right in front of them. I mean I get it, it’s the government they are not going to tell the public what they are really doing to catch the bad guys, but I mean come on like I said earlier Kony has a huge ego, he likes attention. Some of you may call me a hypocrite or say that I don’t care and that is not true I do care I just think that the US has its own issues to deal with first.

Thoughts on the Oscars

The very beginning of the show was ok, the whole get as many celebs as possible in like 90 seconds was not really for me but Billy Crystal’s opening monologue was great. The song he sang was great. Although there was times throughout the show where he would make a joke and no one laughed, that was awkward. So on to how I did in picking the winners, I sucked at picking the winners I only got 2 right(animated film and directing). So I guess the lesson here is do not pick who I want to win, always pick who you think the Academy will vote for. 

Was it just me or did it look like Cameron Diaz had a facelift or something. It did not look right her face was so tight looking to me. 

Even though I did not vote for her I am glad that Octavia Spencer won. 

I love Robert Downey Jr. that was funny. He should Tebow all the time lol. 

What the hell was with that Emma Stone skit, that was over the top and I just wanted to slp her so she would shut up and get to the winner. 

The best part that I loved was Cirque de Soleil. That was amazing. 

Christopher Plummers speech seemed to go on forever. Maybe it was just me. 

And I don’t know what else happened cause I fell asleep lol. 

So from the hour and a half that I did see it was good. Billy has my vote to come back next year and host. What did ya’ll like about the show?

Is Chris Brown A Phone Thief?

Poor Chris Brown is always going to be under a microscope from now until. Now there is a report that he snatched some girls cellphone outside a restaurant or club or something as she was trying to take a picture of him and he allegedly snatched the phone from her hand and drove off with it. If this is true, this is not good for him. Also Chris has been in the news lately for working with Rihanna on a few songs and the two of them are hanging out again. People get over it, if she chooses to start spending time with him again then its her choice. I have always said since the whole domestic case went down that there was more to that story that we don’t know. Yes he should not have hit her in the first place, but he has since then took responsibility for what he has done and has tried to change. I don’t care of you have boycotted Chris since the incident, you can’t deny the boy has talent. So it seems that Rihanna has forgiven him for what he has done to her and they are now trying to be friends. And for the record just cause you forgive someone for something does not mean you forget what they have done. Anyway back to this whole phone theft thing, it seems like this story is not what it seems. It may be someone trying to get some money from Chris. We will see how this plays out for him. 

Lindsay Lohan Good Behavior is Bullshit

So apparently Lindsay Lohan went to court and the judge told her that she is doing great on her probation and stuff. I say this is all bullshit. It is only a matter of time before she fucks up again and is hit with another drug charge or probation violation. I say Lindsay should have been put in jail for her actions. This is why I can’t stand the whole “being a celebrity” cause you can fuck up all you want and they don’t pay any type of consequences. If I did what her her has pulled over the years I would be doing like 5-10. An you know what this whole bullshit about the jail being over crowded and celebs only serving and hour in the jail is so fucking stupid. There are plenty of jails in the state, send them to a different jail to serve the time that they deserve. If I had the money they had you would never see me fucking up like they do. I would go to a small town and or island and you would not hear from me cause I would be chilling, living a quiet life. Some people should just never have money. Lindsay Lohan is a joke. 

You knew I had to talk about it sooner or later……

If you guessed this blog is going to be about the Casey Anthony case then you know me well. So where should I start? 

As you all know she was found not guilty, yes I think this is the wrong decision but I know why the jury came to this conclusion. Let’s start by why the jury felt this way. in a murder trial their has to be only a small felling of reasonable doubt in order for a person to be found not guilty(at least this is how i understand it). So the reason I can see that verdict was what it was, is because there were so many unanswered questions & there was no DNA evidence to directly prove Casey murder her own child(I disagree but hey i was not on the jury). I think the big thing in this case was that Casey Anthony did not report her missing in the 31 days Caylee was gone. And even when she was reported missing it was the Grandmother Cindy who called & reported it(911 tape is online if you want to listen to it). I know people who kids get way from parents in stores & the parents freak out right there in the store, so for Casey to not tell anyone that her child was missing shows you that she is beyond an unfit mother. I won’t go through the whole case with ya’ll cause well it will just get me angry, but if you want the whole case is posted on youtube. I will say that I get that there is no physical evidence proving Casey killed her child, but she had something to with and I think her parents knew that too and may have helped her cover it up. People are comparing this case to the O.J. Simpson case & are saying “We got O.J’ed” which I agree with. But there is absolutely nothing we can do about it now. I just hope that Casey will get some mental health, cause in my opinion she is a true sociopath. The guilt she will have to live with for the rest of her life of what happened to her child will haunt her.Next week she will be a free woman & we can only imagine what she will do next. The Anthony family will never be able to show there faces in public again.  

New York Gets It Right!

So many of you by now has heard that New York has made gay marriages legal. And if you haven’t then you need to come out from under your rock and join the world. In my opinion this is a great thing, this should have happened a long time ago. Now that New York has the right idea I hope that the rest of the states will fall in line and make gay marriages legal. I have a lot of gay friends and you know what they have significant others and they love each other with all their heart, so what I want to know is who the hell are we to say that certain people are allowed to love but others are not due to their sexual orientation the last time I checked, gay people are human too, they have the same right s as everyone else or at least they should but for some reason the egotistically jerks that are in government say otherwise. First of all just because your gay does not mean your some kind of freak like people like to portray you as. All my gay friends have jobs, they pay their bills, they pay taxes so why the hell can’t they get married? For some reason the idiots in this country who thinks being gay is wrong and a sin act like gay people are going to come into their home and turn them gay or something. Gay people DESERVE the right to be married and happy and have families if they want to. Hell most gay people are better human beings than straight people. I mean come on just look at how many government officials have been caught doing morally wrong things in the past year or so. If these people are suppose to be helping this country and helping the people of this country but yet they can’t even keep their damn pants on. Well if they are doing wrong then why the hell should I trust you to make certain laws? These morally corrupt government officials can not be trusted in their own decisions, so they damn sure are no capable of telling other people what they can and can not do with their lives. So i say gay marriages should be legal in every state, cause that is the right thing to do. New York has come to its senses so lets hope the rest of the U.S. will come to theirs. Lets also hope that this decision will NOT be overturned like it was here in California. Everyone deserves the SAME right regardless of of sexuality.

OK so this is who I think should win for these categories and the rest of the categories I really don’t care about. I will be posting a blog about who actually wins and what I thought of the whole show after the Oscars or maybe tomorrow. Till then, enjoy the Oscars tonight folks.
